Points to Note When Choosing and Using a Straight-Pole Umbrella

1. When choosing an umbrella, umbrellas with noticeably sparse weave generally have poorer UV protection.

2. Due to the shrinkage properties of fabrics, when buying a sun umbrella, it's better to choose one with a larger canopy than a smaller one.

3. The color of the fabric is related to its UV protection performance. Under the same conditions, darker fabrics offer better UV protection. Comparatively, black, navy blue, and dark green offer better UV protection than light blue, light pink, and light yellow.

4. When the umbrella is wet, the transmittance of UV rays increases due to the optical conduction of water, reducing the protective effect. Therefore, wet umbrellas are not suitable for UV protection.

5. In our living space, UV rays radiate to the human body from all angles. UV-protective sun umbrellas can only block UV rays radiating from overhead onto the umbrella surface.
